Job Title: Business Development Executive
Salary: Negotiable + commission, Mobile, Laptop, BUPA
Location: Based at our head office in Brentwood, Essex


Job Description

This position requires the successful applicant to target all recruitment organisations within the UK & globally. They will be responsible for all sales activities from initial prospecting through to demonstration and close of sales. They will also be responsible for all prospect relations with a view to promoting an on-going, profitable business relationship, through good communications and an awareness of the prospects current and future needs. Marketing support is provided.


Previous experience of “working within” or “selling to” the market sector will be advantageous. The candidate should possess the necessary energy and drive to achieve quota.
The ability to analyse the customers’ needs in terms of software solutions is preferred, although assistance and training would be provided to candidates exhibiting excellent inter-personal qualities coupled with a sound understanding of the marketplace.


All negotiations will be supported by Microdec, according to size and complexity. However, preference will be given to those candidates that can operate with minimum supervision and support. Most negotiations are conducted at senior management and board level. Therefore, a mature attitude and excellent interpersonal skills are required.


The Business Development Executive has to be a good listener and capable of showing empathy with the client where appropriate. The individual must be capable of running large and small group customer meetings at all levels, where complex issues abound.


Our market is UK and overseas so some travelling and working away from home is to be expected. Any additional languages would be an advantage.

 

Job Title: Technical Account Manager
Salary: Negotiable + bonus, BUPA
Location: Based at our head office in Brentwood, Essex

Job Description
You will be primarily responsible for building new business opportunities and maintaining client relationships within our client base (customers), backed up by project managers, software consultants and our Help desk. Our customers have a global presence and therefore their will be some requirement to make telephone contact with people in different time zones.

You will be expected to discuss many and varied IT projects and comprehend the effect these projects will have on the customer’s business as well as the potential opportunity they provide for Microdec. These projects are both of a technical as well as an operational nature and may result in a service that may take a couple of hours to a project that will take a number of months.

The candidate will maintain regular communication with the customers to determine their needs. It will then be their responsibility to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
