Can I change from SaaS/ASP to Enterprise?

Yes, clients that start off on SaaS/ASP can change over to an Enterprise version at any time.

What if I move into a different sector?

Profile RPM has the flexibility to add additional sectors very easily.

What if I do Permanent recruitment now and then start up a Temporary and/or Executive section?

Profile RPM allows you to turn on additional functionality within the recruitment software, to help your business grow.

Can I import my current system data?

Yes, Microdec offer a range of different options to suit budget and technical ability.
From fully managed imports to applications to assist in the import of lists.

Can the database link to my telephone system?

Profile RPM as standard functionality offers the ability to link to any TAPI compliant phone system.

Can I send TXT messages from the system? To multiple people?

Both our Executive Search and temporary/contract staff find this of great use.
Executives are always available via their phones in the board room and if you have that job that must be filled within minutes, then a quick text out and wait for the phones to ring with your candidates who are ready to work.
Our Recruitment Software solution even supports 2-Way SMS, so they can text you directly back!

Is it possible to make fields mandatory and/or required within the recruitment software?

Screens throughout the system including the quick input screens and data display screens can be either have mandatory or required fields. Required fields prompt the user for input, whereas mandatory are as they say, mandatory.
All these fields can be configured by yourself using the simple-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) with drag 'n' drop simplicity.

Can I access the recruitment system from home/on the move?

Yes, you can run the full application from a device that connect to the internet from anywhere in the world.

Is it suitable for other languages/currency?

As you would expect from a company that supplies systems around the world, Profile RPM fully supports Unicode which allows our clients to have their systems in any language required.

Does the recruitment software integrate with Outlook?

Profile RPM has enhanced 2-Way integration with Microsoft Outlook for Calendar and Tasks. And of course synchronises with your in-box to enable streamlined automated processing of CV parsing and vacancy Parsing.

What deployment options do I have if I have multiple offices?

Our technical account managers have the experience to help and offer the best advise, however here are a couple of options;

Via the Web
Implemented on a central site, then delivered via the internet to remote offices.

Replication
Implemented on a central site, then a copy is taken and loaded on each remote office. These databases then synchronise, so the data is kept up to date on all sites.

Is it possible to configure the look and feel of the DB?

Yes. Profile RPM has a very powerful, yet simple to use graphical user interface (GUI) to enable our customers to simply change the way their systems look, feel and work.
You do not have to be a developer to make these changes and with the added advantage of knowing that any changes made, can be automatically re-applied when you upgrade to a new release.

Is your support valid worldwide?

Yes, we support and train companies all over the globe.

Is there a method of automatically matching candidates to jobs?

Profile RPM's recruitment software solution comes as standard with auto matching. Our normal matching is only one click to perform!

What is the difference between In-House and Hosted solutions?

Microdec offer the flexibility of both solutions to its clients, click here for more information.

Hosted
ASP/MSP/SaaS are all hosted solutions and as such are located (hosted) at either the suppliers location or an off-site location and the client then connects to this via the internet.
The supplier will then normally manage the maintenance of the server and perform backups (you should check this with the supplier).

In-House
An in-house solution, is where you have your database on a server in your own office with your users connecting to it.
You are therefore responsible for the maintenance and backups of your own server.

Can the database be linked to my website?

Microdec have a range of solutions for linking to your website, from simple plug-in real-time portals to an API (application program interface) that allows you to develop your own integration.

Can the system be used for marketing purposes (CRM)?

Many of our clients who had been using other recruitment applications, also had separate CRM applications. Since implementing Profile RPM they have transferred all into Profile.
One company used Salesforce.com and have saved themselves money moving over to Profile RPM.

Can the system track candidates career history?

Profile RPM has full career tracking history and automatically adds the career history when you make a placement.

Is it a fully relational database?

Yes, but why does this help me?
Being fully relational means that you only have to enter the information in, in one location and as its linked to other data it shows in all areas, meaning it is easier to find and gives the user the best experience.

Is searching easy?

Easy? picture this... click... and you have the results of your search in front of you!
Yes, just one click! Profile RPM has the best searching available, allowing both code, field and free text searching to be performed in one search.
Load a vacancy and the system will go and find the most suitable candidates for you. If you have setup an advertising campaign for instance, it will also keep looking at anyone new added to the database while you get on with other work and tell you when its found more. SmartMatcher does it for you.

How long has the company been in business?

Since 1983, which is when we supplied a system to our first recruitment company client.

Does the system integrate with Microsoft Office?

Microdec have seamless integration with Microsoft Office to allow the best experience for its users.

How do I store CV's, Scanned Passport images and other files within the DB?

Profile RPM offer exceptional storage on all of the main records, therefore you can store any file that you can double click on in windows within the system.
Files have a quick preview screen to save the user having to open file after file to find the right one.

Can it parse PDF CV's?

Profile RPM has its own enhanced built-in parsing software for parsing CV's and also vacancy emails from your clients.
Microdec also work with other parsing applications such as Daxtra, Burning Glass, Textkernal and iProfile.

Does the recrutiment system generate reports?

Profile RPM has its own reports library with all sorts of reports. The system also has a unique 'My Lists' feature that provides instant reports based on your pre-determined configuration or you can change it on-the-fly.
This coupled with the fact that it is an ODBC compliant database, allows you to use your own reporting tools such as Microsoft Access, Crystal etc to generate any report you require.

Can I automatically send TOB's?

Companies can configure the system based on rules, so that TOB's can be automatically sent.

Can I quickly and easily identify candidate availability?

Profile RPM has a new enhanced availability facility with simple swipe and repeat functionality. Based on the fast and simple recording of availability, the system then also has unprecedented matching of vacancies. All availability can be easily viewed via clearly laid out screens.
